A foundation of elegance.
The Herringbone Pattern
Characterized by staggered rectangular planks, this traditional interlocking pattern creates a subtle zig-zag effect that adds depth, texture, and a sense of expanded space to any room.
The Chevron Pattern
Cut at a perfect angle to create a continuous "V" shape. Chevron flooring delivers a sharper, more contemporary geometric flow that draws the eye and elevates modern interiors.

Herringbone Flooring FAQs
What is the difference between herringbone and chevron flooring?
Herringbone uses rectangular blocks laid in a staggered zig-zag. Chevron blocks are cut at an angle so the ends meet in a clean, continuous V shape. Herringbone feels classic; chevron looks sharper and more contemporary.
Do you fit herringbone in laminate and engineered wood?
Yes. We supply and fit herringbone and chevron in both premium laminate and real engineered wood, so you can choose the look and budget that suits your home.
Does herringbone flooring cost more to fit?
Herringbone takes more time to fit than standard planks because every block is laid individually from a centre line, with more cuts at the edges. We include all of this in a fixed quote after a free survey.
Which rooms suit herringbone flooring?
Herringbone looks best in hallways, living rooms, dining rooms and open-plan spaces, where the pattern has room to flow. It also makes narrow rooms feel wider.
Can herringbone go on underfloor heating?
Yes. Engineered wood and suitable laminate herringbone both work with underfloor heating when fitted on the correct underlay or adhesive.
How long does herringbone installation take?
Herringbone takes longer than plank flooring. An average room usually takes one to two days, depending on the size and how much the subfloor needs levelling.
